My studs are available to suitable queens recently tested for FeLV/FIV - they all live in comfortable heated outdoor accommodation with equally comfortable adjacent pens and runs for visiting queens. All matings are supervised and no sharing of food/water bowls or litter trays is permitted, to minimise risk of cross-infection. I have many years' experience of stud ownership and am always happy to give help and advice on suitability of matings and possible kitten colours. Enquiries about the boys are very welcome - email or telephone 01777 249075. Please note: I strongly believe that breeding restrictions are destroying many of our pedigree breeds, therefore I do not place unreasonable restrictions on my boys' progeny. If queen owners wish to breed from a kitten sired by one of my studs, I would be happy to discuss this.
Asian
Elmo (left) is a full expression chocolate shaded silver Burmilla, otherwise known as Gr Ch Vervain Elfstone - he has sired some superb kittens to date. Kimba, Vervain Kimba Silverstorm, a black shaded silver Tiffanie, carries spotted and mackerel patterns and could carry blue, chocolate or both colours. He will be at stud in 2008.
Ocicat
Lumo Tezcatlipoca is a stunning lilac, bred in Finland by Antti and Mirka Karanta of Lumo and Anorien's cattery. Teemu is an F3; his great-grandfather is an Abyssinian. He has superb spotting with clear well defined contrast (unusual in a dilute colour). I hope that his outcross pedigree will bring much needed diversity to Ocicat lines in the UK. I am eternally grateful to Mirka for once again entrusting me with one of her amazing cats, and also to Suvi Lehtoranta who reared Teemu and his siblings and kept him at her home until the requirements of the Pet Travel scheme were completed. Teemu has already sired some beautiful kittens both in Finland and here in the UK.
Burmese
For a limited time only, Ch Machika True Blue (blue) will be at stud. Many thanks to his breeders Pat and Maureen Hardy, and former owner Sheena Cook, for allowing Theo to live with me. He is a proven experienced boy who has sired many stunning kittens - I have been very impressed with his first litter of kittens with Nina my lilac tortie.
